Liking that rugged look

One prof (who will not be named due to his paranoia about publicity) is rocking a rugged beard these days. His pleasantly biz-cas style would be bordering on attractive if he would only update his glasses, which are currently aviator style... and perhaps drop the black accessories with an otherwise entirely blue outfit.
